TDF acquires a 70% stake in Towerco Réunion Mayotte (TORM) for approximately €31 million. TORM is a telecommunications tower company, based in the French departments of La Réunion and Mayotte, currently owned by Telco OI (a joint company owned by Iliad and Axian groups).
TORM currently operates 195 sites for its customers which are key actors of the telecommunication industry, including Telco Oi as the main anchor tenant. TORM will benefit from a 20-year master services agreement, including the roll-out of 100 new sites over the next decade.
This transaction also contributes to TDF Group’s ongoing vast telecommunications infrastructure roll-out programme in France and increases the Group’s footprint in this fast-growing region.
